What is natural spacing?
Natural spacing is a way to space out tweets automatically: approved posts go out inside your posting hours, 75 to 120 minutes apart, at most 6 a day by default. It is how Evenpost, an app for X (Twitter) that lets an AI agent draft posts you approve on your phone, times every post you queue.
Evenpost / Answers / What is natural spacing?
It exists because a burst looks wrong. An agent can finish four drafts in ten minutes. If all four post the moment you approve them, your followers see four posts at once. Natural spacing lets you approve in one sitting and still post like a person, across the day.
How to space out tweets automatically
- The windowPosts go out between 7 am and 2 pm in your time zone by default. Nothing posts before the window opens.
- The gapEach post waits 75 to 120 minutes after the one before. The gap changes every time, so your day has no fixed rhythm.
- The capAt most 6 posts a day by default. When the window is full, Evenpost asks: an overflow slot today, up to 6 pm, or the next slot tomorrow.
- X threadsAn X thread takes one slot. When its turn comes, it goes out one tweet at a time, in order.
When you want an exact time
Natural spacing is the default, not a lock. When you queue a post you can pick an exact minute inside your hours (7 am to 6 pm by default), move it to another day, or unschedule it.
Change the defaults
In Settings you set your time zone, the window, the overflow end, the daily cap and the gap. Pick the hours you would post by hand, and Evenpost spaces everything you approve inside them.
Is natural spacing the same as scheduling?
Natural spacing is not the same as scheduling. Scheduling means you pick a time for each post. Natural spacing picks the next good slot for you, inside your hours and with a varied gap, so all you do is tap Queue. In Evenpost you can still pick an exact minute for any post.
Does natural spacing post while I am asleep?
Natural spacing does not post while you are asleep, as long as your hours match your day. Posts go out only inside the window you set, 7 am to 2 pm by default, with overflow to 6 pm only when you choose it, and always in your own time zone.
Can my agent change the spacing?
Your agent cannot change the spacing or the time of a post. Agents can draft and read your queue. The window, the gap, the daily cap and the time of each post are set only by you, in the app. What your agent can do.
