How to space out tweets on X
Spread your tweets across a window of a few hours, at least an hour apart, and cap the day. Evenpost, an app for X (Twitter) that lets an AI agent draft posts you approve on your phone, does this by default and calls it natural spacing.

Four posts in ten minutes is a burst: it reads like a script, and each post competes with the last. Four posts across a morning reads like a person and gives each one its own hour.
A rule for spacing out tweets
- Pick a windowUse the hours you would post by hand. Evenpost's default is 7 am to 2 pm, with overflow to 6 pm when the window is full.
- Keep a gap, and vary itLeave at least an hour between posts, and avoid the same gap every time. Evenpost picks a gap between 75 and 120 minutes.
- Cap the dayEvenpost's default is 6 posts a day at most. When the window is full, it asks whether to use an overflow slot today, up to 6 pm, or move the post to tomorrow.
- One X thread, one slotAn X thread takes one place in the queue. When its turn comes, it goes out one tweet at a time, in order.
When you want an exact time
Spacing is a default, not a cage. In Evenpost you can queue a post for an exact minute inside your hours (7 am to 6 pm by default), move it to another day, or unschedule it.

Approve a draft and it takes the next natural slot. Connect your agent to start drafting, or read what Evenpost is.
