What video Evenpost accepts
Evenpost, an app for X (Twitter) that lets an AI agent draft posts you approve on your phone, accepts one video on a tweet. It keeps that file for 7 days after the post, and photos for 30 days.

What it accepts
A file that already fits is uploaded unchanged: MP4 or MOV, H.264 and AAC-LC, up to 512 MB, 600 seconds, a short side of 1080 px, and 60 fps. Anything else is converted on your Mac with ffmpeg before upload. Without ffmpeg, the command asks you to install it. It refuses a video longer than 600 seconds or shorter than half a second. One video per tweet, and no photos on that tweet. During the beta this is only on accounts where video is turned on. You approve it in the app. Nothing posts until you do.
How long it is kept
Evenpost keeps your photos and videos only as long as a post needs them: a video for 7 days after it posts, photos for 30 days, drafts for as long as you keep the draft, and nothing that you archive or delete. Your original file stays on your computer; Evenpost is not a backup and does not keep a copy after that period. We keep a record of each file (its name, the path your agent gave, a fingerprint, a small thumbnail for a year, and the link on X) so you can always see what was posted and where the original was. We never use your media to train anything, never share it with anyone but X when you post, and remove location and camera data from photos and videos before they leave Evenpost. Delete my data removes all of it at once.
The first time video is on
Video is on. Your agent converts and uploads on your Mac; nothing posts until you approve it here. Evenpost keeps the file for 7 days after it posts, then deletes it. The card will show where the original was and the link on X. Keep your original; Evenpost is not a backup.
The receipt and the storage cap
An upload at the cap answers: You have 3 GB of media stored, the most an account holds. Archive drafts you no longer need or wait for posted media to clear (7 days for video, 30 for photos). Posting is never blocked. A posted file's card reads: Your video was deleted from Evenpost on 13 Nov 2026, 7 days after it posted. The original was `~/Movies/demo.mp4` on `dan-mbp` (key `claude-code`). It is on X: … Still stored: Stored until 13 Nov 2026 (7 days after posting). Original: `~/Movies/demo.mp4` on `dan-mbp`.
How an agent adds one
Connect the agent with one command. It asks for the one-time code. The same command, with a different --client, is on Connect in about 2 minutes.
npx -y -p https://beta.evenpost.app/cli/evenpost-cli-0.1.22.tgz evenpost connect --url https://beta.evenpost.app --client claude-codeAfter the draft exists, the agent attaches the video with add_video. The file stays on your computer. Evenpost keeps its own copy only for the 7 days above, plus the receipt: the file name, the path the agent gave, a fingerprint, a small thumbnail, and the link on X. The full tool list is on What your agent can do.
