Connect a hosted agent
Evenpost has an address a hosted agent can call. Today that address takes a bearer key from Settings. ChatGPT and Grok on grok.com have no place for a bearer key. OAuth sign-in for hosted agents is coming.
Evenpost / Docs / Connect a hosted agent
What it is
The address is https://beta.evenpost.app/mcp. The agent sends one request and gets one answer. It can draft. It cannot approve or post. You still approve in the app.
Who can connect today
Codex keeps the key in the environment: codex mcp add evenpost --url https://beta.evenpost.app/mcp --bearer-token-env-var EVENPOST_API_KEY. Cursor puts the key in a headers entry in its mcp.json. A script sends Authorization: Bearer and the key from Settings. The key is shown once. A Claude.ai custom connector can send a bearer key today when the organisation is in Anthropic's beta. A Team or Enterprise Owner chooses No sign-in and types Authorization: Bearer and the key under Request headers. Everyone in that organisation shares the key, and so the X account.
Who waits
ChatGPT's connector asks for OAuth or no sign-in, and it has no place for a bearer key. Grok on grok.com asks for OAuth and does not take a static bearer key. Claude.ai connectors for everyone else wait for OAuth. OAuth sign-in for hosted agents is coming. Do not paste a bearer key into ChatGPT.
The computer on your desk still uses Connect in about 2 minutes.
